His Bachelor Of Dental Surgery is from A. B Shetty Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. He has won numerous medals and laurels in his academic career including the Best Innovation Award in his field for the year 2013 at the 15^th Indian Prosthodontic Society, PG Convention.

Being in the practice since 3 years now he is widely appreciated and loved for his dedication to clinical practice, honesty and extreme compassion and care for his patients. I visited Dr. Ashwini with very bad pain in my upper tooth. The tooth had been troubling me for a very long time for which I had previously visited another dentist. He had suggested a filling and cap and done the same for me. But even post treatment my pain persisted. A relative suggested Dr. Ashwini to me and honestly I was very apprehensive and had gone with the intention of getting the tooth removed . What I liked best about him was the way he counselled me and suggested that the tooth could be saved with proper root canal treatment and cap.
